Crimson Rambler

I watched that interview also -- and remembered watching Billie Jean (Moffat as she then was) beat Rosemary Casals in the US Open in August 1966...on television...in a motel room on Commonwealth Ave in Boston...on holiday with my entire family, who had been passing the flu around amongst themselves all the way along, and by the time we got to Boston it was my turn. So Mom and Dad and sibs went off to see Boston, and I lay in the great A/C and drank ginger ale and watched the action from Forest Hills... by the end of the day I was over the flu, and I had some grasp of the scoring system in tennis: win/win!!
