Please be in prayer for my daughter, Christi. Around noon Tuesday she was driving into a small strip mall to go to lunch with her 20 month old daughter. She suffered a seizure and the car ran up on a sidewalk. There was no injury to either from the car but Christi was unconscious.
Ten years ago Christi had another seizure and went into a coma which makes us tremendously anxious.. We're still in the ER at 12:14 am and there is no certain agreement as to the cause. She had a dental appoinment the day before and some doctors feel the novacaine made have contributed to a lowering of the threshold of her resistance to seizures. But just before they were to take her to a special neurological unit her temperature rose significantly and now we're waiting for a spinal tap to check for meningitis.
UPDATE: Since I posted the above, Christi has had two more seizures. Unfortunately, the doctors had okayed her two older daughters coming into the trauma to see her mother and so she could see them. They (ages 12 and 8) witnessed the worst of these seizures and are, understandably panicked by this.
Testing of all kinds continue.
I will be grateful for your prayers.
Dear Parson,
Your daughter, grandchildren, you and the rest of the family are in my prayers. Please keep us posted. God bless all of you. Peace, Curtis
