I've seen this from the health care side so many times, and in so many ways. Yet, it is still hard. My mother died after open heart surgery at the hospital where (J) and I met and everyone caring for her were friends, from the chief thorasic surgeon to the nurse's aid. We knew how hard they worked to save her, and how grieved they were at not being able to. Death of a loved one is so hard, but in the end hope and faith are all we have.

Preacher Mom

This made me cry.
