Hey, what's 39,994,000 years, give or take, in the big picture of things? :)

Hate to tell you, but not only are the Christians wrong about the age, but the Humanists are wrong about the age. I just had a nice argument with a bunch of hardcore Humanists on another blog.

I googled for canyon floods and found a non-Christian geologist who proposed that basaltic lava dams trapped a lake. When the dam broke, the flood quickly eroded the Grand Canyon group of canyons. That's why they look so fresh.

I challenged the Humanists to defend their dogma by proving the itty bitty river made the entire group of canyons -- half of which are DRY. No takers.
